Brief Bio:
Julian brings his musical talents and repertoire to Mariachi
Relampago. Raised in Laredo, Julian moved to central Texas when he
started attending Texas State University. Julian teaches workshops
and takes personal lessons from current and former members of
Mariachi Vargas and Mariachi Tierra del Sol. Currently, he attends
Austin Community College. Julian is an assistant instructor of the
Travis High School Mariachi and teaches mariachi guitar lessons at
the Lonestar School of Music. He is also the mariachi instructor of CD
Folkes Middle School and Stony Point High School in the Round
Rock ISD. Catch Julian running 6 miles down Town Lake when he's
not performing or teaching. Julian has returned to Mariachi
Relampago after performing and recording a CD with Mariachi
Tamasula.
